Consumerism: Refers to the idea that people should buy  and use  a large number of things.

• Possessions: Cosas que tienen o poseen.  
• Electronics: Dispositivos y electrodomesticos que funcionan con electricidad, ejemplos: TVs, Cellphones, etc. 
• Devices and appliances : Dispositivos y aplicaciones
• Cooking utensils: herramientas usadas para cocinar, ejemplo:  Saucepans (caserolas)
• Belongings: pertenencias 
• Unhappy: infeliz, triste

3. Write and answer each question for both pictures of pages 58 and      59 (pasar al cuaderno y estudiar)

3.  How many people are there in each picture?

4. Who are these people?

5. Look at things in front of each house. What are they?

6. Do you think the pictures are interesting?

7. What is interesting about them?

8. Look at the man in picture B. Does he seem unhappy? Do you            think he is unhappy with his situation?

9. Do you think they have too many things?

10. Do they need all of their possessions?

11. Do you have a lot of possessions?

12. Are they all things that you need? Or do you have some things            that you don´t really use?

13. What is the connection between pictures a and B and the title of the unit?
